When: We meet every Wednesday  6-8pm (the first Wednesday of each month we serve together at the church for Paper Pantry).

May 6th ~ Paper Pantry

~ Our teens join the rest of our congregation at Refuge Church, in serving our community.  This event is the same time, 6-8pm, as our normal student group time but takes its place, the first Wednesday of each month.

~ Some teens run list of needs upstairs to be filled, some bring the items back downstairs, and others help load paper product items into client cars (with adult supervision).

~We will not be sharing ice cream after PP this month.

May 13th ~ "The Great Commission"

~ Graduation season has a way of making us reflect on purpose. It feels especially fitting, then, to spend time with our students talking about the purpose Jesus has given each of us.

Bryan Crenshaw, one of our TN leaders, will be teaching on this topic - offering a timely reminder on the calling we carry as we step out into the world.

May 20th ~ School's Out PARTY!

~ Woohoo!!

We're wrapping up the 25-26 school year, and we couldn't be more proud of our students for finishing strong.

This night is all about fun and connection - no class schedule, just free time and good food.  TN will provide hot dogs, chips, and soda, and the teens are welcome to bring a dish or snack to share.

We'll have volleyball, games, music and more - something for everyone!

THEME: Chill, Relax, Celebrate, and Have Fun.

May 27 th ~ "Lukewarm"

~ Our students were asked, "What topics would YOU like to hear about?". Lukewarm was one mentioned. We love that they suggested it, because it shows they're thinking deeply.   They're asking the important questions.

Our TN leader, Emily Romig, will be teaching on this topic taken from Rev. 3:15-16. What does "lukewarm" look like today? Are we being "lukewarm"?

Mission week 2026

JUNE 14th - 19th (students will be at camp one day longer than 2BCBG LTN dates)

This year we are joining with another local church, 2nd Baptist Church BG, to serve our community together.  2BCBG started a mission effort a few years ago, called "Love Thy Neighbor", which offers minor work projects to those in need.  Our students will be staying at Refuge Church, but serving with 2BCBG during the day. If your teen is interested, the link below will connect you with the 2BCBG "Volunteer Packet", to be filled out and returned to Refuge Church, along with camp fee payment.  Camp fees this year are $150/student.  Scholarships are available. This fee covers: 2BCBG fee & donation, Snacks, Fun Day expenses, and Breakfast on Friday morning.

* 2BCBG Packets should be returned to Refuge BEFORE MAY 11TH!

** PARENT / STUDENT MEETING May 24th - after each service (you only need attend one), this meeting will include Refuge Church expectations, Youth Conduct Covenant, timeline of camp, and more info. regarding the overnight accommodations at Refuge.
